Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division club Ardley United have completed the signing of midfielder Declan Benjamin from Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West neighbours Didcot Town.

Having played at Oxford City and Banbury United previously, manager Paul Davis wasted no time upon hearing that there may be a chance of signing him on at Ardley.

David said: “I am absolutely delighted to capture the signature of Declan, someone who is going to make a huge difference to our club, and a huge difference to our midfield.

“Having played at a much higher level, I know what Declan can bring to us, and I am genuinely excited to have completed his signing.

“A huge thanks to Leam Howards who has helped in convincing Declan that Ardley is the club to join, and I cannot wait to see the two of them linking up on the pitch”.
