Blue Square Bet North club Droylsden have signed winger Paul Ennis from Principality Welsh Premier side Bala Town.

Born in Stockport, Ennis – known as `Charlie`- progressed through the youth ranks at Edgeley Park before being released in 2008.

He continued to train with County and was re-signed on a professional contract after the club received a windfall from appearing at Wembley, making his League debut against Northampton Town in March 2009.

After an unsuccessful trial with Wrexham the following summer, Ennis joined Stalybridge Celtic but left the Bower Fold outfit to join Bala in January 2010.
