Boro Take Tulips Midfielder

Toolstation Northern Counties East League Division One club Grimsby Borough have confirmed the signing of Jack Wrightwick from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South side Spalding United.

Attacking midfielder Wrightwick’s previous clubs include Louth Town, Boston United and he began the season at ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division outfit Boston Town where he remains joint top scorer with 9 goals.

In October, the midfielder made the move up to Spalding, who currently sit second in the division three points behind leaders Shaw Lane AFC.

Wrightwick picked up just 2 goals during his time with the Tulpis and they both came in a League Cup victory against Carlton Town.

Wrightwick becomes Boro’s second signing from the Northern Premier League in as many weeks, following the arrival of Jake Gibson from Spalding`s league rivals Lincoln United.
