St Neots Town striker Jevani Brown could be the latest Non-League player to move into the Football League after being handed a trial by Birmingham City.

The Sky Bet Championship club are set to cast their eye over Brown this week, who is due to train with them and may play for their U23s against Leeds United tomorrow afternoon.

The 22-year-old signed for Evo-Stik Southern League Premier side St Neots in December from Stamford AFC, and has struck 11 goals in as many games.

Brown started at Peterborough United but was released in November of 2013 following off-field incidents.

He’s since had spells in Non-League with Barton Rovers, Arlesey Town, Wingate & Finchley and Kettering Town.

In January, Birmingham signed Dan Scarr from Stourbridge of the Evo-Stik Northern League Premier.
