Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) club Hamble ASSC will next season be changing their name to GE Hamble FC.

This latest change in name follows the club’s parent company transforming from Aerostructures Hamble Limited to GE Aviation Systems (Aerostructures Hamble) Limited in October 2007.

Meanwhile, manager Danny Bowers has made a U-turn and decided to remain manager of the Planemakers but the club are looking for a new secretary as Ward Puddle will be leaving his post at the end of the season.

Any candidates are urged to ring Danny Bowers on 07545 573145.
