Coasters Borrow Spireites Defender

Vanarama National League North leaders AFC Fylde have secured the loan signing of defender Laurence Maguire from Sky Bet League One side Chesterfield.

The 20-year-old will team up with the Coasters until March 21st, 2017.

Maguire, younger brother of Hull City’s Harry, came through the ranks at Chesterfield and captained the youth team last season before earning a professional contract.

He has made eleven first-team appearances for the Spireites this season.

Maguire goes straight into Dave Challinor’s squad for tomorrow’s trip to Brackley Town.
