A round-up of Sunday`s ties in the Extra Preliminary Round….

Burscough, playing at the Extra Preliminary Round for the first time after suffering relegation from the Evo-Stik League North and now in the Hallmark Security League Premier Division, made it through on Sunday afternoon.

They won 3-0 at Toolstation Northern Counties East League side AFC Emley in front of a decent crowd of 306.

Peter Henerty gave the Linnets the boost of an early 5th minute lead.

Derek Szanto doubled the advantage 14 minutes later and a Jake Connelly effort 5 minutes from time completed victory.

The NCEL had its revenge in the tie between Hallam and Bootle, with the Sheffield-based hosts running out winners by the same scoreline in front of 310.

Tom Roebuck broke the deadlock a minute before half-time to give Hallam the lead, and just 2 minutes after the break, Mitchell Duff made it 2-0.

Josh Gibson rounded off the scoring 8 minutes from the end.

But the tie between NWCL outfit Widnes and NCEL Handsworth Parramore comprehensively went the way of the visitors 5-0.

It was 1-0 at the break, courtesy of John Hill`s 25th minute goal.

But 2 minutes into the second period, Joe Thornton added Parras second and an Aaron Moxon brace on 65 and 80 minutes was added to by an 88th minute Dan Buttle fifth to make it a nap hand.

Thurlow Nunn League side Stowmarket Town enjoyed a comprehensive 4-0 win at Essex Senior Leaguers Barkingside.

Ethan Clarke bagged a brace for Stow – the second from the penalty spot – with George Bugg and Andrew Wood adding the others.

Southern Counties East League Premier Division new boys Rusthall FC shared a goalless draw with Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division visitors CB Hounslow United and will replay on Tuesday.

Hounslow`s league rivals Epsom & Ewell and Banstead Athletic met at …with the visitors edging it 2-1.

Tyler Maddock`s brace cancelled out Rob Henry`s penalty for the Salts.

CCL Division One side Badshot Lea shared a 1-1 home draw with Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) One outfit Verwood Town and they replay on Tuesday.

Brad Smith gave Badshot the lead that Ryan Kelly levelled for Verwood.

Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side Highworth Town and Spartan South Midlands Premier London Colney must also replay after a 1-1 draw.

Dwayne Clarke gave the visitors the lead immediately after the break and Tom Cole equalised for Town.

Highworth`s league rivals Highmoor-Ibis, however, went through 3-1 against ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Division One visitors Buckingham Town.
