On a foggy night at Hillheads, four-times winners Whitley Bay comfortably beat Ebac Northern League First Division rivals Billingham Synthonia 3-0 in their Buildbase FA Vase Second Qualifying Round replay on Tuesday night.

Tom Potter opened the scoring with a 17th minute penalty after Andy Robertson had been tripped.

Five minutes after half-time Jack Walker made it 2-0 before Matty Cornish celebrated his 20th birthday in style, coming off the bench to add the third in the 69th minute.

There was a definitive 5-1 win for Sheppey United at Southern Counties East League rivals Tunbridge Wells.

Remmel Davis and Luke Harvey gave the Ites a 2-0 half-time lead but Jon Pilbeam gave the Wells hope with his 53rd minute strike.

Ian Batten, Hicham Akhazzan and Kwasi Amoah each scored to destroy all the Wells’ dreams of a repeat Wembley performance this time around.

The all-Toolstation Northern Counties East League Division One replay saw Rossington Main triumph 2-0 at Hallam.

Connor Williamson after 36 minutes and Declan Howe just shy of the hour-mark saw Main through.

The all-Thurlow Nunn League replay between Debenham LC and Great Yarmouth Town went the way of the hosts by 2-0.
