Thursday night saw Thurlow Nunn League Division One side Holland FC take their place in the Buildbase FA Vase First Round after beating Spartan South Midlands League Division One visitors Wodson Park 4-1 in a Second Qualifying Round replay at FC Clacton`s Rush Gren Bowl.
The home side had a great start when Steve Eaton turned his man on the edge of the box and lobbed the keeper who was well off his line inside 5 minutes.
But the visitors got themselves back on level terms midway through the half when Oliver Babbage was put through to score.
But Holland were back in front just before half-time with a terrific goal from Reece Keating, who curled one in from 25 yards under the Wodson Park bar.

Shortly after the restart, Holland virtually clinched their place in the next round when the Wodson Park keeper came out but was nowhere near a free-kick and Chris Ribchester headed over him into the back of the net.
And there was still time for a fourth goal for the hosts when Wodson Park poorly defend a corner and Keeting headed through a crowd of players for his second of the night.
It was comfortable in the end for Holland, who set up an Essex derby with Great Wakering Rovers in the next round.
