Dolly Blues Looking For A Bit Of Help As Farsley Celtic Come On Strong

Bamber Bridge boss Neil Reynolds wants to do rivals Lancaster City a favour as they look to land the Evo-Stik NPL North championship.

Bridge face second place Farsley twice inside the next few weeks and their neighbours can help their title bid if they can take points from Celtic.

This weekend Lancaster go to Colwyn Bay while Farsley have a home game with Ossett Albion.

The gap is only three points now and the Dolly Blues know Celtic are scoring for fun.

Can Bamber help Lancaster out? Reynolds says they may have to if they are to reach the playoffs themselves.

“I would love to do Lancaster City a favour,” Reynolds told the Lancashire Post.

“I like Phil Brown, Lancaster’s manager – I like the way he goes about his business.

“I’m jealous and envious of them being where they are, but if we can help them out as well as helping ourselves out, we will do that.”
