Ex-Derby Striker Takes Team Dudley Helm

West Midlands (Regional) League Division One club Team Dudley have announced the appointment of former pro Lee Mills as their new head coach, succeeding former manager Stewart Holmes.

Mills joins Team Dudley having managed Bridgnorth Town while in the Midland Alliance and Shifnal United 97 in the Shropshire County League. He also had a spell as assistant-manager at Ellsemere Rangers.

A wealth of playing experience at the top level with over 300 games in the League for the likes of Derby County, Bradford City, Portsmouth, Coventry City and Wolverhampton Wanderers, Mills has the knowledge of every level of the game to help a youthful Team Dudley side learn their way in the adult game.

As manager of Team Dudley, Mills will also take on the role of College A Team manager and help blood new faces through into the senior side.

His first game in charge of the team will be on Saturday as Team Dudley host Wednesfield at The Dell Stadium.
