Ryman League Premier Division club Leatherhead have announced the departure of high-profile manager Jimmy Bullard.

Bullard has decided to pursue a full-time role in football away from Fetcham Grove.

The club have thanked him for all he has done, enjoying a great final run in which saw the Tanners survive relegation and finish thirteenth in the table.

Bullard joined Leatherhead in September 2016 after he had enjoyed a wonderful career as a professional at Fulham, Hull City, West Ham, Peterborough, Fulham, Ipswich Town and MK Dons.

This was his first appointment as a manager – a career he is passionate about pursuing – but he gained a wealth of experience into a variety of management and coaching techniques as a player.
