Law Adds Two To Poppies Squad As Kettering Move For Meikle

Marcus Law, manager of Evo-Stik League South Premier club Kettering Town, has confirmed the signing of striker Lindon Meikle and right-back Gary Stohrer.

Meikle has signed for the Poppies from Vanarama National League side Barrow AFC.

A very experienced player Meikle who has played at all levels of the Pyramid and has also played against the Poppies for Eastwood Town and Mansfield Town.

He has also had spells at Macclesfield Town, Alfreton Town, York City and Southport.

Stohrer joins the club from Evo-Stik League North side Frickley Athletic after impressing in pre-season.

A firm favourite at his other clubs which include Shaw Lane AFC, Ossett Town and Garforth Town, Stohrer is actually from Northampton and started his career at Irchester United before a spell at Long Buckby.
