Ridgeons League Premier Division club Walsham-le-Willows have signed Cambridge United’s record goalscorer and…

…former Mildenhall Town manager John Taylor as assistant to current manager Paul Smith.

Taylor has a wealth of experience having played over 500 League matches for Bristol Rovers, Bradford City and Cambridge and manager Smith is delighted to renew his partnership with Taylor after playing together at Sudbury Town.

He said: “I’m very pleased John has joined the staff. He is a top coach with all the highest badges and with his wealth of experience he should bring more class to the club which everyone should benefit from. No one more so than the strikers, who he can help massively, we have struggled scoring goals in previous seasons so as a former prolific striker he should be able to help with finishing.”
