Evo-Stik League Premier club Witton Albion`s striker Will Jones and defender Nick Ryan have signed for another year following successful talks with the management.

The pair have signed extensions on their contracts to stay at Wincham Park until the end of the 2018/19 season.

Ryan, who joined Witton last summer, has made thirty-seven appearances for Albion notching up 2 goals, plus keeping eleven clean sheets in all competitions.

Ryan’s height and being a threat from set-pieces has made him an important figure in the Albion squad.

Jones who also has endured a successful time at Wincham Park has tallied sixty-one appearances for Witton scoring a healthy 21 goals since joining from Colwyn Bay in February 2017, subjected to a work permit.

Eleven of Jones’ goals have been in this season including a brace against Sutton Coldfield Town when he scored 2 goals in a matter of minutes before half-time at Coles Lane.

Jones’ energy and willingness to get into dangerous positions has always made him a handful this season no matter who he has come up against.
