Evo-Stik League Premier champions Altrincham have announced their first new signing of the summer.

Anthony Dwyer, a 21-year-old winger who can also play as a striker, has joined from former league rivals Hednesford Town.

Ironically, his last game of the 2017/18 season was against his new club for the Pitmen, who he had joined in March 2018 from Vanarama National League North side AFC Telford United.

Dywer has dual Montserrat and England eligibility.

He started out at Mansfield Town before joining Stafford Rangers in November 2016.

He soon moved on to Matlock Town and, in the summer of 2017, he signed for AFC Telford, for whom he made thirteen appearances and scored 5 goals.
