Total Motion Midland League Premier Division club have suffered a second blow this week with the departure of another vastly experienced player.
City legend Wayne Thomas has followed Lee Hughes out of the club after accepting a coaching role with Premier League West Bromwich Albion`s soccer school in China.
Thomas had been player-manager at Evo-Stik League Premier outfit Rushall Olympic before re-joining City last October.
The former Stoke City, Southampton and Burnley defender is a UEFA A Licence coach, and his playing career as a no-nonsense centre-back saw him appear over 500 times for a number of clubs and command a transfer fee of £1 million when moving to Southampton in the summer of 2007.
Now developing a reputation as a talented coach, the 38-year-old has worked within the academy of New York Red Bulls and coaches the under-19s at one of his former clubs, Kidderminster Harriers.
He will be now taking the role up over in China and will say his goodbyes to his team-mates in the coming days.
