Vanarama National League North club Chorley have confirmed that defender Adam Anson has extended his loan deal with Evo-Stik League Premier side Lancaster City until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old joined the Dolly Blues on a four-week loan deal back in February, but they have elected to extend his deal until the end of the 2017/18 campaign, although the Magpies can opt to recall him if they wish.

Anson has also been joined by Chorley youngster Josh Gregory.

The former Wigan Athletic man has also signed on a loan deal and scored a late equaliser in City’s 2-2 draw with Stafford Rangers on Saturday.
