Toolstation Northern Counties East League Division One club Retford United have announced the appointment of Jordan Hall as their new manager.

He takes over from Simon Brammer, who had been in caretaker charge since Mark Wilson left the Badgers in September.

Hall, who previously managed Glapwell and FC Bolsover in the Central Midlands League, had taken up a role at NCEL Premier Division side Maltby Main in the summer but had to step down before the season began due to work commitments.

Hall will be assisted by John Styring and Mark Higginbottom will be coach – a duo he has worked with at previous clubs.
