Ball Rolls Into Stamford

Evo-Stik League South club Stamford AFC have signed Callum Ball from Evo-Stik League Premier side Barwell.

The Leicester-based player began his career at Nottingham Forest before moving to Derby County and joining the Rams` academy.

During his time at Derby he spent time on loan at Coventry City, scoring for the Sky Blues against Arsenal in the Capital One Cup, and also had loan periods at Torquay United and Notts County.

He was released by Derby in 2014 and moved to Scotland to play for St Mirren.

He left the Scottish side in April 2015 and since has played for Corby Town, Nuneaton Town and Barwell.
