Beavers Borrow U`s Young Defender

Vanarama National League South club Hampton & Richmond Borough have announced the signing of defender Harry Darling from SkyBet League Two side Cambridge United on an initial one month’s loan.

The 18-year-old signed his first professional contract for the U’s in October last year, making his first-team debut a month ago in the EFL Cup against Bristol Rovers.

He has gone straight into the squad for today’s game at Hungerford Town and Monday`s at Gloucester City.

Manager Paul Holleran has utilised his extensive contacts book to acquire the services of Colchester United under-23 captain Charley Edge on an initial month`s loan.

The attacking midfield player is included in the squad for today`s game at Darlington FC.
