Vanarama National League South club Hampton & Richmond Borough have taken promising midfielder Josh Taylor on a month`s loan from National League side Sutton United.
Taylor joined the U`s in July after impressing manager Paul Doswell in a pre-season friendly against Havant & Waterlooville.
He was highly recommended to Doswell by Mickey Adams and David Hughes at Midas Sports, and prior to joining Sutton, he played on trial for Leyton Orient and scored 2 goals.
Taylor was a name that very few people were aware of due to him spending the previous four years doing a degree course on a football scholarship, but he had a good football education with Crystal Palace.
The 22-year-old signed a two-year contract at Gander Green Lane.
Taylor was the subject of interest from a number of clubs including Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic earlier this season.
He trained with both in October and did very well, but nothing came of it in the end.
