Following the return of vastly experienced defender Michael Townsend earlier in the week, Evo-Stik League Premier strugglers Sutton Coldfield Town have also welcomed back Aaron Birch following a brief spell with Stourbridge.
Birch captained Sutton Coldfield this season at the age of 22 after joining them in December 2016.
He has starred in a struggling Royals team and has previous experience with Hereford FC.
Birch joined the re-formed Bulls after his release from West Bromwich Albion and started the 2015/16 Buildbase FA Vase Final at Wembley.
Birch goes straight back into the squad for today’s game against Altrincham.
His move to Stourbridge didn’t work out for him and the Royals are delighted that he has decided to return so quickly to Coles Lane.
Birch has been joined by Matt Baker, who has joined on a short-term loan from another league rival, Grantham Town.
Baker is an experienced centre-half who played for Ilkeston FC before joining the Gingerbreads.
He was originally with Leicester City as a youngster before coming through the Ilkeston academy.
And now Birch returns!!https://t.co/K0aRf82Qpf
