Ebac Northern League Second Division club Blyth AFC have confirmed the resignation of joint-managers Andy Bowman and Michael Connor

A renowned goalscorer for a number of Northern League clubs, Bowman was instrumental in the success of North Shields, helping to lead them to victory in the 2015 FA Vase win at Wembley during his eight-year reign as assistant-manager before leaving towards the end of last season to join Blyth.

Connor led Blyth to three Northern Alliance Premier League championships off the belt, and after waiting for the opportunity for so long, relished the challenge of playing in the Northern League last season steering the team to eighth place in its first attempt.

Until further notice Blyth AFC go into the next games led by assistant-manager Ian Irving and Team Captain
