Bonner Takes Charge At Farnham

Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division club Farnham Town have announced the appointment of Paul Bonner as manager until the end of the season with immediate effect.

Bonner, formerly assistant-manager, will be assisted by coach Andy Sharratt.

Bonner replaces Paul Tanner, who resigned last week after eight seasons in charge.

Farnham were marooned in the Division One when Tanner took charge and his positive style and local contacts galvanized the club.

He took the side back to the Premier Division in that same 2010/11 season and the side have held that status comfortably until this season when Farnham are in a desperate fight to avoid the drop.

But it is hoped that with Bonner and Sharratt`s commitment, experience, enthusiasm and passion for Farnham Town, the club have every confidence of a successful end to the 2017/18 season.
