Southern Combination League Premier Division club Peacehaven & Telscombe have signed 23-year-old striker Dean Bown.
Bown joins from Bostik League South side Horsham on a dual registration and made his debut in last Saturday 1-1 draw at Eastbourne Town.
Bown has experience playing for several teams from higher divisions, including Eastbourne Borough, Metropolitan Police, Hastings United and Lewes.
He also played for Peacehaven briefly under Darren Freeman in 2015.
Haven manager Mark Shutt told the club`s Pitchero website: “Firstly I’d like to thank Horsham for helping getting Dean dual signed with us. I believe he will be a great addition to our squad.
“He is a good calibre striker that prior to a nasty ACL injury a few years ago was aiming to play a lot higher.
“Dean has spoken of his desire to come into our squad and play for us with the aim of getting back to his best and he hopes to score some important goals for us along the way”.
