Kingstonian have announced that centre back Leo Chambers, who had two spells with the Bostik League Premier club in the 2017/18 season, will be playing in the hoops for the 2018/19 season.
Chambers, who came to K’s on loan from league champions Billericay Town, started his football life as a West Ham United junior, rising through the ranks at the Hammers before playing three first-team games and then six on loan to Colchester United.
A former England under-18 captain and England under-19 player, Chambers moved to the New Lodge at the beginning of last season before his successful loan spells at Fetcham Grove with the K’s, as he made eleven appearances.
Chambers told the club`s Pitchero website: “I’m happy to have signed for Kingstonian. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here last season and I’m hoping we can pick up from where we left off.”
Kingstonian manager Leigh Dynan is a happy manager: “I am ecstatic to have signed my number one defensive target – I believe Leo is capable of playing at a higher level than us in the near future but he has bought into what we are trying to achieve in this coming season.”
K’s director Yioryos Vasilaras added: “Leo is another quality signing that again illustrates our determination to do what we are trying to do; Leigh is looking only for a specific type of player and person – he wants winners in his team and Leo is absolutely one of those”.
