Evo-Stik League Premier club Nantwich Town can confirm that striker Jordan Cole has made his loan move from Evo-Stik League South side Newcastle Town permanent.

Cole had been with Castle since he was a youngster and played a big part in the team’s run to the 2014/15 play-offs, scoring 25 league goals and being voted in the league’s team of the year.

The striker began his career as a youngster at Port Vale before progressing through the ranks at Newcastle to the first-team.

Cole joined the Dabbers last November on a two-month loan and has signed on contract terms this week.

The forward made an immediate impact on his Dabbers’ debut, scoring the second goal in the 2-0 home win over Stourbridge.
