Contract Reward For Douglas

Matty Douglas has signed an eighteen-month contract with Workington AFC which will we see him with the Evo-Stik League Premier club until the end of next season, at least.

Douglas` consistent performances over the past season and a half have been rewarded, having previously registered with the club on a non-contract basis.

Douglas, 19, joined the club from Carlisle United in the summer of 2016 and appeared on the team sheet for the 100th time at Barwell on Saturday.

His ‘century’ is made up of sixty-one starts plus thirty-nine appearances on the bench.

He has scored 8 goals, 7 of which have been this term.
