Bostik League Premier club Kingstonian have announced that goalkeeper Rob Tolfrey and full-back Andrew Musungu have signed new long-term contracts.

K’s manager Leigh Dynan was a happy man, telling the club`s official Pitchero website: “I’m very happy to secure Rob’s services on a two and half year contract, Rob is one the best keepers I’ve worked with and it was a no brainer to offer him this contract. This shows Kingstonian football club’s ambition going forward, also I’m very pleased to get Andrew to commit on contract until the end of 2018-2019 season, Andrew has had interest from conference national and conference south clubs, again this shows our ambition in building a squad to challenge at the top of Bostik Premier League next season.”

K’s director Yioryos Vasilaras added: “I’m delighted that we as a club have been able to secure the long term signings of these two very talented players, it shows that both players believe in what we are striving to achieve moving forward, with our move back to the borough of Kingston confirmed a few weeks ago, we want to finish as strong as possible this season, and are preparing ourselves to mount a strong challenge for promotion next season, both Rob and Andrew are a massive part of the team we intend on building to mount that challenge.

“Firstly, with regards to Rob, I wish it was as straight forward to negotiate a contract with every player, apart from being the best keeper in the league, he is a fantastic guy, he has a genuine love for the club, and has a personal target in sight of breaking the club’s all-time appearance record, which I’m sure all connected with our great club would love to see him achieve. I know our supporters panic at the end of every season as to whether Rob will be between the sticks at the start of the season… worry NO more K’s fans, you have the best keeper in the league for at least another two seasons beyond this current season!

“Moving on to Andrew Musungu, Andrew Is a really solid, fantastically gifted left back who who has been on trial this season at a few National League clubs as well as catching the eye of several National League South clubs. It is testament to Andrew and shows the belief he has in both Leigh and the club’s vision that he has chosen to commit until the end of next season”.
