Leiston have announced that young defender Harry Knights has signed his first contract with the Bostik League Premier club.
After making his debut earlier in the season, 18-year-old Knights has already featured in several first-team games and has impressed everyone at the club with his performances and his contract award is just reward for his efforts.
Blues boss Glenn Driver told the club`s official Pitchero website: “It is fantastic news having a young talent like Harry sign his first contract with the club. He is a smashing lad who is always looking to listen and learn.
“Having already played in two behind door friendlies for Ipswich Town is shows the potential this young man has. It also shows that no matter the age we will give young players the chance to play at the highest level.
“I would personally like to congratulate Harry and both myself and Tony Kinsella look forward to continue to work with Harry and his development at the club”.
