Evo-Stik League South club Lincoln United have signed goalkeeper Mike Emery, while Sean Wright returns to the playing squad.

Emery joins from Evo-Stik League South Premier side St Neots Town.

He has previously played for Boston United and Gainsborough Trinity and also had a brief loan spell at Lincoln United when he was younger.

A boost for the club came with the news that on the back of Sean Wright has been given the all-clear to recommence his playing career.

Manager Sam Wilkinson was understandably delighted with the new signing and having Wright back.

He also stated that he will be looking to keep strengthening the squad if the right players become available.

He said he was working on bringing in a couple more fresh faces to increase the competition for places in the squad.
