Vanarama National League club Dover Athletic have announced the loan signing of central midfielder Paul Lewis from SkyBet League Two side Cambridge United.

The 22-year-old will go straight into the squad for tomorrow’s clash at Guiseley AFC.

Lewis joined Cambridge on a three-and-a-half-year contract from Macclesfield Town for an undisclosed fee last January and made thirteen appearances last season.

He scored 17 goals in 108 National League games for the Silkmen, including a hat-trick against Tranmere Rovers in his final game at the Moss Rose.
