Alan Dowson has signed his new full-time contract with Vanarama National League South club Hampton & Richmond Borough.

He will formally take up his duties in early July after he has said goodbye to friends and colleagues at Weston Green School, Thames Ditton, and Westward School at Walton, where he has worked for twenty years.

Speaking after signing, Dowson was impatient to get on with the task of getting the Beavers back into the play-off spots.

“I can’t wait to get started. I have wanted an opportunity like this for a long time,” he said after signing his contract with chairman Graham Wood looking on.
