Bostik League Premier club Leiston have confirmed the departure of midfielder Joe Marsden and striker Christy Finch from Victory Road.

After appearing only fourteen times in the 2016/17 season, this past campaign saw him play very well, providing fourteen assists and scoring 7 goals from forty-one appearances.

Overall, Marsdon made fifty-five appearances for the Blues, scoring 8 times, and signed off with a Suffolk Premier Cup winners` medal.

Finch joined the Blues in 2015, making a scoring debut against Kingstonian on the opening day of the season.

He ended up as top scorer that season.

Last season Finch struggled for game-time and spent part of the campaign with Bostik North side Norwich United but still showed his goalscoring prowess, scoring 14 times for the Planters.

He returned to Victory Road in the summer and ended the season as joint top scorer alongside Jack Ainsley with 17 goals, signing off with 2 goals and a man of the match display at Portman Road as the Blues lifted the Suffolk Premier Cup.
