End Of An Era As May Leaves Reds For Shildon

Ebac Northern League First Division club Shildon have signed defender Kyle May from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Workington AFC.

The 34-year-old centre-back played over 544 games, scoring 32 goals during his twelve years with The Reds.

Adding non-competitive games into the equation, May appeared in a Workington shirt 650 times.

May capped a wonderful time at Borough Park by guiding the club to the Cumberland Cup success over Penrith at Carlisle United`s Brunton Park, proudly lifting the trophy in his home city.
