Bostik League Premier club Wingate & Finchley have announced the addition of another defender into the squad.

Thirty-five-year-old Adam Everitt joins from Evo-Stik League South Premier side Bishop’s Stortford.

He joined Hayes & Yeading in March 2013 from then-National League South side Eastleigh and was installed as first-team captain.

He originally joined Hayes FC in 2003 from Luton Town and made just short of 100 appearances before making the short move over to The Warren.

Since then he has plied his trade with St Albans City, Staines Town and Eastleigh, joining Bishop`s Stortford in January 2017.

In 2013/14 he became the first and probably the only player to score for Hayes FC, Yeading FC and Hayes & Yeading United when he fired home the winner against Bognor Regis Town in the FA Trophy.

Everitt joins Freddy Moncur and Luke Sheldrick as players to represent both the Blues of Wingate and Stortford this season.
