Bostik League Premier club Margate have announced the departure of a handful of players from Hartsdown Park.
Experienced goalkeeper Lenny Pidgeley, midfield duo Jack Evans and Sam Blackman and striker Jay May depart The Gate following the 2017/18 campaign.
Pidgeley, 34, is a former Chelsea, Millwall, Carlisle United, Bradford City and Newport County keeper, who represented England from under-16 to under-20 level.
He joined Margate in the summer of 2017 and made thirty-eight appearances last season.
Evans, 25, turned out for Gillingham, Sutton United and Eastbourne Borough before signing for Gate from Maidstone United in March 2017.
He played thirty-eight times for Gate last term, scoring 5 times.
May is another experienced 34-year-old forward who signed for Gate from Hythe Town in August 2017.
He was previously on the books at Dartford, Bromley, Billericay Town and Maidstone and scored 7 goals from thirty-six appearances last season.
Blackman has already made the move to Vanarama National League South side Concord Rangers.
