Midfielder Alistair Waddecar has signed a new contract with Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division North club Bamber Bridge which will keep him at The Sir Tom Finney Stadium until 2019.

Waddecar put pen-to-paper after agreeing terms with manager Neil Reynolds a move that will no doubt delight the Brig faithful!

It’s been a busy day for Reynolds, who also confirmed the signing of another midfielder, Danny Forbes, who has made the move from league rivals Kendal Town.

A creative midfielder, Forbes was a firm favourite with the Mintcakes supporters.

He was with Preston North End before joining the Cumbrians three years ago.
