Evo-Stik League South Premier club Farnborough have signed midfielder Jake Evans on a month`s loan from SkyBet League Two side Swindon Town.

Nineteen-year-old Evans, who is more than capable of operating at right-back, was handed his first professional contract in April 2016 and made his League debut the following month after coming on as a substitute during the 3-0 win against Shrewsbury Town at The County Ground.

Evans got three games under his belt for the Reds in 2016/17, while he also spent a short spell out on loan in the League of Ireland with Waterford.

The youngster has linked-up with Spencer Day`s side in order to achieve more first-team football and made his debut as a second half substitute during the 3-1 defeat to Redditch United on Saturday.

Evans will return to Town following the conclusion of games on Saturday 16th September.
