Dan Cockerline has joined Evo-Stik League Premier club Farsley Celtic on loan from Vanarama National League North side Southport until 10th February.

The Warrington-born, 6`3″ striker spent his youth career at Sheffield United before joining Barrow AFC in the summer of 2016 from Northwich Victoria.

He was loaned out to Stalybridge Celtic in December 2016 but picked up an injury that ruled him out of the rest of that season.

He returned to the Bluebirds for his rehabilitation and made his several appearances as a subsitute earlier this season, as well as starting away at Solihull Moors.

He switched to Southport in September and has made nine league appearances so far this season.

It is hoped that getting more playing time at Farsley will see Cockerline return to compete for first-team football at the Merseyrail Community Stadium

He is expected to be in Farsley`s squad to face Stourbridge away this weekend.
