Evo-Stik League South Premier club Hereford FC have announced the signing of goalkeeper Will Puddy.

Puddy, who started his career as a youth team player at Bristol City, has played over 100 games in the Vanarama National League during spells with Salisbury City and Bristol Rovers.

The 30-year-old was a part of the Rovers side in the Promotion Final at Wembley when they defeated Grimsby Town in the 2014/15 season to gain promotion to the Football League.

Last season Puddy made seven appearances in League One for Bristol Rovers, and also enjoyed loan spells with National League sides Braintree Town and Sutton United.

He was released by Bristol Rovers at the end of the 2016/17 season.

Puddy is available for selection for tomorrow’s Buildbase FA Trophy tie against Wealdstone.
