Former Tottenham Hotspur and Republic of Ireland under-21 winger Kenny McEvoy has returned to Midland League Premier Division club South Normanton Athletic after a spell in the Irish League.
McEvoy returns to the MJ Robinson Arena after a spell in the professional game in Ireland with Waterford.
McEvoy originally signed for the Shiners in 2016 before departing for a full-time contract with his home-town club.
McEvoy, 22, started his career with Spurs and, although he didn`t make the senior side with them, did have loan spells with Peterborough United, Colchester United, Stevenage and York City, who he moved to on a more permanent basis in January 2016.
Manager Tommy Leighton was pleased with the return of McEvoy, adding the player adds quality to the squad and pace to our attacking options, he is a player who scored goals in his first spell with the club.
