Experienced striker Craig McAllister has signed for Evo-Stik League South Premier strugglers Gosport this evening after leaving Vanarama National League side Eastleigh by mutual consent.
Thirty-seven-year-old McAllister joins as a player-coach.
He has enjoyed a long and successful career which seen him play both professionally and in the upper echelons of non-League football.
Among his many clubs are Exeter City, Barnet, Luton Town, Woking, Rushden & Diamonds, Crawley Town and Newport County. His career has spanned almost two decades and has seen many highlights.
When with Crawley, he was part of the team that played Manchester United at Old Trafford in 2011 with Steve Evans’ side eventually losing 1-0.
Most recently he has been with home-town club Eastleigh following a two-year spell at Sutton United.
