There were a handful of games possible in the Southern Combination League on Saturday.

At the Lashmar, Saltdean United won 4-0 with Jimmy Fraser netting a hat-trick and Harry Shooman the other.

Hassocks ended their club record run of fourteen games without a victory with a 2-0 success away at Littlehampton Town.

Jake Lindsey and Jack Wilkins were the Robins scorers.

The only other Premier Division game to get the referee`s nod was Peacehaven & Telscombe`s 2-1 home win over Worthing United.

Kieran Deacon got Worthing`s goal, Dean Down and Marcus Allen for the hosts.

In Division One, a crowd of 229 at Priory Lane saw Langney Wanderers lose 3-1 to Bexhill.

The Wanderers remain in second spot, despite Jamie Bunn`s 19th minute opener being overturned by a Jack McLean hat-trick.

And at the appropriately-named Shooting Field, Steyning Town edged out Midhurst & Easebourne by the odd goal in nine.

Dom Ozga with a brace, Rob Clark, Mo Al Samarie and Alex Townley just edged out Harry Giles with two, Kieran Carter and Gary Norgate.

The only game in the Spartan South Midlands League came in the Premier Division where Edgware Town beat fourth-placed Harpenden Town 3-1 to move into seventh place.

ā€¸Harpenden had most of the possession, but the Wares were the more ruthless in front of goal.

Luke Durnin in the first half and then Omololu Onabolu and Steven Benavides late on in the second were the Wares` scorers on the 3G.
