Midfielder Connor Hogan has joined Bostik League North leaders AFC Hornchurch.

Formerly with East Thurrock United, VCD Athletic and Brightlingsea Regent, Hogan joined Aveley during October 2017 and went on to make eleven starts for the Millers.

He made his debut against Barking away ending in a 2-1 defeat, but went on to make a good impression at Parkside, including great performances against Brightlingsea Regent in the Essex Senior Cup and a 2-0 away win against local rivals Tilbury.

Leaving the Millers, Hogan had this to say on his Twitter account: “I would like to wish everyone involved at Aveley FC the best of luck for the rest of the season. Thanks to James Webster and all the staff involved at the club for giving me the opportunity to represent them. Good luck chaps”.
