Tadcaster Albion have announced that the vastly experienced goalkeeper Michael Ingham has pledged his future to the Evo-Stik League North club for a third season.

The former Northern Ireland international will stay with the Brewers for the 2018/19 season.

“There’s been a bit of interest in me lately but I’m loving playing under Mikey Morton and Simon Collins so it was a no brainer to sign when they offered,” said Ingham. “They are building something special at Tadcaster, it’s one of the best changing rooms I’ve been involved in.

“The body has said yes to another year!”

Tadcaster boss Michael Morton is also thrilled to keep the instrumental goalkeeper: “We are obviously delighted to keep Ingy’s services for another year” said the Albion chief.

“He’s top notch on the pitch but he’s also been different class in the changing rooms as well. His professionalism sets a brilliant example to the younger players that are coming through”.
