International Midfielder Loaned To Ferriby

Vanarama National League North strugglers North Ferriby United have signed midfielder AJ George on loan from SkyBet League Two side Mansfield Town.

An energetic midfielder, the 21-year-old signed for the Stags from Oxford United in 2016, and has also featured for Evo-Stik league South Premier side Banbury United on loan during the 2014/15 season.

He made two first-team appearances for Oxford before moving north.

Born in Marston, England, he is eligible to play for the Antigua & Barbuda national side and made his senior debut for the Caribbean nation in March 2016 in a Caribbean Cup qualifier against Aruba, where he scored his first senior international goal in a 2-1 win.

A regular for Mansfield`s under-21 side, he has also been on loan with Evo-Stik League Premier sides Mickleover Sports and Hednesford Town.
