Wellington manager Clive Jones has swooped to sign another striker in George Sinnott from Toolstation Western League Premier Division neighbours and rivals Bridgwater Town.

Sinnott joins having been training with the club along with another new signing, Charlie Bridges, who has joined Wellington from another league rivals and Somerset neighbour, Street.

“George has plenty of pace and is a busy player,” Jones told the club`s official website. “With Ian Bellinger out for a while, we’ve needed to beef up the attack. He has played first-team football this season but has been playing for the reserves recently.

“He will be in the squad for the away game against Brislington this coming Saturday.”

Meanwhile, Bridgwater have put in seven-days` notice of approach for Wellington’s Sam Towler.

Jones obviously hopes Towler will stay
