Striker Dom Lawless has re-signed for ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division promotion-chasers Newport Pagnell Town.

Lawless returns to Pagnell from league rivals Eynesbury Rovers, who he joined in the summer.

He had enjoyed two good seasons with Pagnell in 2015/16 and 2016/17, scoring 51 goals in eighty-three matches and won several end-of-season awards before deciding to leave.

This will actually be Lawless` fifth spell at Willen Road.

In between stints in the green and white, he has also been on the books at Ampthill Town, St Ives Town, Bedford Town, Buckingham Town, Banbury United, AFC Rushden & Diamonds and New Bradwell St Peter.

Newport Pagnell manager Darren Lynch said: “I’m delighted to have resigned the top goalscorer in the UCL. I couldn’t turn down the chance to add to my already exciting squad and he can only add to our quest too getting promoted!”
